Nazanin is a partner at Angel Invest. She started her career in tech, spending over 15 years building products and teams before becoming a CTO-turned-founder. She went on to build one of the largest female-led tech companies in Iran’s history, scaling it from zero to IPO, growing it to hundreds of people, raising multiple rounds, and operating in one of the toughest environments to build in.
She was recently named one of Europe’s Top 100 Women in Tech 2025 by Sifted, recognizing her impact as a founder, operator, and investor in the European tech ecosystem.
Today, she invests across AI and software as a hands-on partner, acting as a non-executing co-founder. She brings operator, technical, and fundraising experience to help teams navigate scaling and reach their next milestone, optimizing for one thing above all: being “the most valued investor on a founder’s cap table.”
Nazanin also cares deeply about building a more inclusive technology ecosystem. She has been an advocate for UNCTAD’s initiatives to close the gender gap in tech and actively supports diversity and inclusivity across the industry — particularly for women, migrants, and other underrepresented founders — helping create environments where different perspectives can thrive.
