Bio
Jens is a Founding Partner at Angel Invest. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Techstars, where he launched a Germany-focused fund that invested in 40 companies which have since raised over €250m, including unicorns Arweave and Preply.
Before Techstars, Jens co-founded Forward Labs (now Forward Partners), where the team launched a new product each month using lean startup principles. Forward Partners was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2021 and acquired by Molten Ventures in 2023.
In earlier lives, Jens was a founder and scientist.
He now lives in Berlin with his wife Iris and their two daughters.
